The high speed mechanical tubular drag conveyor - aeroelevator - is designed to elevate powdery products completely vertically, being able to transport products with complicated behaviours.
The mechanical conveyor works with a steel cable, with plastic discs attached to it, tightly fitted to the pipe. When operating at high speed, suction is generated at the point of origin, which causes the product to circulate dispersed between two discs, with a certain amount of air that keeps it very loose and volatile, preventing the product from sticking to the walls of the pipe.
The conveying capacities are up to 35,000 litres/hour, depending on the setting of the equipment.
